Essay: Knowledge is Power

God has created countless living and non living things in this universe. These things include birds, animals, plants, trees, fishes, rivers, oceans, and humans. Among all these creatures, God chose Human as his best creature in this universe. He granted the gift of knowledge to only human beings. Due to this blessing, God has dominated the human race over all the creatures of the world.
 
The word "Knowledge" means "To know". It is only the knowledge that polishes and grooms the various abilities of an individual. Only knowledge enables a person to recognize himself and his creator. On the other hand an illiterate person id deprived of all this. He can never understand the importance and dignity of his life and the people living around him. A person without knowledge is not respected anywhere in the world. He is always rejected by the people and he gains no respect at all. With the weapon of knowledge only a human can achieve the tough goals of his life. A man becomes able to fight with the problems of his life only because of knowledge. A person lacking in knowledge always faces big losses in his life and become a cause of many problems for other people in the society. But a person rich in knowledge lives his life with his head up in the society with great honor and respect. Power of knowledge makes a person a good and responsible member of his family and citizen of his country and nation.

Seeking knowledge is very essential in order to understand the laws and principles of a society in which a person lives. Without having good quantity and quality of knowledge a person can be trapped in many difficulties. If we look around then we can see the knowledge ruling everywhere. For example, a large number of animals with giant and terrible bodies flying in the air, running on the ground such as lions, elephants, leopards, rhinoceros, crocodiles, etc are all under the control of human beings only because of power of the knowledge they have. Humans using their knowledge power trap and catch the various animals of different species from different regions of the world and bring them to the zoos for the entertainment of the people. They compel those animals to live according to their will and in the way they want. Humans with the help of their knowledge train the animals to take different works from them.

Furthermore when there was no source of light in darkness, human invented the lamp to see the things in the dark. The sunlight was of no use in primitive times but now it is being used on a large scale to produce electricity to run heavy machinery. Human invented telephone, radio, TV, computer, internet to communicate with all over the world in a very short time and quickly. All of these achievements become possible only because of using the power of knowledge of various fields. Humans constructed very comfortable houses for their living. With the help of their knowledge they innovated great ideas to make their lives longer, easier and safer. A human could have never done all this if he would have been deprived of God gifted knowledge.

Due to the blessing of knowledge human became able to study the various mysterious natural phenomenons of this universe in which astronomy and embryology are two examples of great importance. Many countries in the world become advanced and highly developed only when the people of those countries felt their progress and success in gaining more and more knowledge. It is only the knowledge which rises some nations to the height of success and pushes some nations to the depth of darkness and decline.

Knowledge is a thing which a person can never steal from other person therefore it would not be wrong to say that...
